I. INTRODUCTION

We live in a time where morality is collapsing, values are distorted, and corruption is rampant. Many people pursue money without integrity, using crooked means to gain wealth. But for the child of God, the question is: How can I prosper in a generation that has forsaken God, without compromising my faith?

This teaching provides a balanced, biblically sound pathway to wealth in a godless age.

---

II. UNDERSTANDING THE TIMES

1. A Godless Generation Defined

2 Timothy 3:1-5 describes the godless characteristics of the last days: lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, proud, ungrateful, unholy.

People no longer care how money is made, only how much is made.

2. The Temptation of Compromise

Matthew 4:8-10: Satan tempted Jesus with the kingdoms of this world and their glory—if He would bow.

Many are falling for this temptation: exchanging their soul for wealth (Mark 8:36).

---

III. GOD’S WAY OF MAKING MONEY

1. Seek First the Kingdom

> Matthew 6:33 – “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you.”

Prosperity is not sinful; it's the motive and method that matter.

2. Work Diligently and Honestly

> Proverbs 10:4 – “Lazy hands make for poverty, but diligent hands bring wealth.”

God blesses the works of your hands (Deuteronomy 28:12).

Refuse shortcuts—hard work pays off.

3. Practice Financial Integrity

> Proverbs 11:1 – “A false balance is an abomination to the Lord, but a just weight is His delight.”

Avoid fraud, bribery, exploitation, and dishonesty.

Uphold truth even when no one is watching.

---

IV. BIBLICAL MODELS OF RIGHTEOUS WEALTH

1. Joseph in Egypt (Genesis 39:2-6)

In a corrupt system, Joseph was favored because he feared God.

He managed wealth for Pharaoh with wisdom and integrity.

2. Daniel in Babylon (Daniel 6:3-5)

Excelled among corrupt leaders.

His loyalty to God brought him promotion, not compromise.

3. Job (Job 1:1-3)

Was upright, feared God, and was extremely wealthy.

Integrity does not block prosperity; it secures it.

V. PRINCIPLES FOR MAKING MONEY GOD’S WAY

1. Discover and Develop Your God-Given Potential

> Proverbs 18:16 – “A man’s gift makes room for him.”

Don’t chase money; develop value and money will find you.

2. Solve Real Problems

Joseph interpreted dreams.

David fought Goliath.

Daniel interpreted signs.

> Ecclesiastes 10:10 – Wisdom brings success.

3. Invest and Multiply

> Matthew 25:14-30 – The parable of the talents teaches us to multiply what we are given.

Avoid waste. Learn financial literacy and stewardship.

4. Give and Partner with God

> Luke 6:38, Malachi 3:10, Proverbs 3:9-10 – Giving is God’s pathway to supernatural provision.

Tithes, offerings, giving to the poor, and missions connect you to Kingdom economy.

---

VI. DANGERS TO AVOID IN A GODLESS GENERATION

1. Greed and Covetousness

> Luke 12:15 – “Beware of covetousness, for a man’s life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions.”

Be content and grateful for your current level.

2. Love of Money

> 1 Timothy 6:10 – “The love of money is the root of all evil.”

Love God, not money. Use money as a tool, not a master.

3. Get-Rich-Quick Schemes

> Proverbs 13:11 – “Wealth gotten hastily will dwindle.”

Avoid gambling, Ponzi schemes, and manipulation.

---

VII. REWARDS OF DOING IT GOD’S WAY

Sustainability (Proverbs 10:22 – “The blessing of the Lord makes rich and adds no sorrow.”)

Peace of Mind – No fear of being caught or exposed.

Eternal Rewards – Riches with righteousness earn eternal dividends (Matthew 6:19-21).

Impact and Influence – Kingdom wealth can sponsor the Gospel and bless others (2 Corinthians 9:8-11).

---

VIII. CONCLUSION

You don’t have to compromise to prosper. You can make money in a godless generation by:

Honoring God,

Serving others,

Working diligently,

Giving generously,

And walking in integrity.

Let your prosperity preach a better message—that righteousness still pays!
