🌍 Missions, Giving & Partnership

Theme Scripture: Romans 10:14-15 – “How shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach, except they be sent?”

✍️ Day 1: What Is Missions? Local vs. Global Focus

Text: Acts 1:8 – “...you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

Missions is not just traveling to foreign lands—it is obeying God's call to reach the unreached, wherever they are.

We must stop limiting missions to global outreach. You can be a missionary to your neighbor, your village, your state, or a new tribe or people group in your country.

Jesus gave us a layered mission field:

  • Jerusalem (Your Immediate Area)
  • Judea & Samaria (Nearby Regions and Cultures)
  • Ends of the Earth (Far and Foreign Lands)

📌 Missions is local AND global.
Whether in the city or the bush, Jesus must be preached.

Action Step: Identify which “layer” you are currently reaching and ask God to enlarge your territory.

✍️ Day 2: Stories from the Harvest Field

Text: John 4:35 – “Lift up your eyes and look on the fields, for they are white already to harvest.”

Rural missions are filled with miracles, encounters, and tears—but they are also filled with souls hungry for the truth.

Let me share a story:

In a remote village we visited, a woman gave her life to Christ after years of idol worship. That same day, she burned her charms, got baptized in a stream, and became a disciple-making evangelist to her own people.

This is what missions do—it doesn’t just change people; it changes entire communities and legacies.

📖 Mission stories inspire others to go, give, and pray.

Action Step: Share a story (from your own experience or others) about a soul or village that encountered Jesus.

✍️ Day 3: How to Support Missions Even If You Can’t Go

Text: 1 Samuel 30:24 – “The share of the one who stays with the supplies is to be the same as the one who goes into battle.”

Not everyone is called to go, but everyone is called to be involved.

If you can’t go, you can still:

  • Pray fervently for missionaries and harvest fields
  • Give financially to mission outreaches
  • Share content and raise awareness
  • Encourage those who go

God sees and rewards every sacrifice made for His kingdom, whether visible or hidden.

💡 Missions is a partnership.

Action Step: Choose a mission field or missionary to support regularly with prayers, money, or resources.

✍️ Day 4: Faith That Funds – The Missionary’s Walk with God

Text: Philippians 4:19 – “And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory...”

Missionaries are often on the frontlines with little financial backing. Yet, God always makes a way—through people, miracles, and divine provision.

Mission work requires radical faith. It also requires kingdom partners who understand the urgency of the harvest.

Every naira or dollar given in love goes to plant eternal seeds. God blesses those who give joyfully and sacrificially.

📌 You don’t need millions to support missions—just a heart that obeys.

Action Step: Sow a seed today into a mission project or outreach, no matter how small. Trust God to multiply it.

✍️ Day 5: Your Role in the Great Harvest

Text: Matthew 9:37 – “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the labourers are few.”

The harvest is waiting. Souls are ready. But the labourers? They are few, distracted, or discouraged.

This is your call to arise. Whether you're a student, mother, pastor, teacher, or trader — the Great Commission includes you.

You have something to contribute:

  • Your voice
  • Your prayers
  • Your finances
  • Your influence

💥 You are needed. Don’t delay. Get involved.

Action Step: Write down your mission commitment. It could be monthly giving, praying for a village, or joining outreach. Take the first step now.

Missions is not a ministry—it’s a mandate.
Whether by going, giving, or sending — every believer must participate in the harvest.
